Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Cookie Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Dodge & Weave (the “App”). This is a general-audience app not directed at children.

Information we collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information directly.

Locally stored data

Your high score and your settings (visual style, vibration, sound effects and music) are saved only on your own device, in the app’s private storage, so they persist between sessions. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Data collected by advertising

The App shows rewarded video ads (used to let you revive during a run) through Google AdMob. To serve and measure these ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

  • Your advertising identifier (a resettable, non-permanent device ID)
  • IP address and general device and network information
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, video completions)

This data collection is performed by Google, not by us directly, and is governed by Google’s own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Consent

On first launch, the App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to determine whether consent is required for your region (for example, under GDPR in the EEA/UK) and to present a consent form if so. You can change your ad personalization choices at any time through that form or through your device’s ad settings.

How we use information

We do not use any collected information ourselves beyond what’s described above (saving your high score and settings locally, and displaying ads through AdMob). We do not sell data, and we do not build user profiles.

Third-party services

The App uses:

  • Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) — ad serving and measurement. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — consent management.

Children’s privacy

Dodge & Weave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.

Data retention

We do not retain any data ourselves — your high score and settings live only on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Data collected by Google’s advertising services is retained according to Google’s own policies (linked above).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
